Though Bistillot has a male name and is referred to by male pronouns by the other Young Griffons, Bistillot is actually a girl. Her real name is Bostillette. At the end of the San d'Oria Crystal War questline she reveals her parents gave her a male name hoping it would make her stronger to survive her childhood illness.
