- Spawns at the bottom of (E-8) in the upper section of the open area, approx. 2 hours after death.
- Stun, Blind, Paralyze, and Slow will land.
- Resistant to or immune to Gravity and Bind.
- Has about 12% added movement speed.
- Can be pulled to the tower at (C-8) west of the spawn point for kiting. This requires at least one member to stand guard near the trolls that spawn southwest of the tower in order to zone any that may aggro the kite path.
- Hits very hard and has a very high Double Attack rate.
- Appears to use Demoralizing Roar followed immediately by Boiling Blood once it has TP.
- Soloable by 80 NIN/DNC with full EVA gear and hastegear for Utsusemi recast. Offhanded Octave Club to speed up TP gain since it just spams the same WS move. Yonin up fulltime.
- Solable 75 Bst/Whm - using pets in area and Courier Carrie
- Solable with 99 Bst/Nin very easily with Nursery Nazuna
