Mission Orders The Empire's mercury cipher (OGMA) has been stolen by a group of Far Eastern spies. With it, our enemies will be able to decrypt top-secret military orders, thus severely compromising Imperial safety. You are to intercept the enemy as they transport the device.

Walkthrough[]

Eliminate Oko, Danzo, and Saizo.

  • You enter at the South West corner of the map (G-10/H-10).
  • There are around 15 ninjas in full AF1 named Kusa and around 7 Bhoot mobs named Kudagitsune.
    • The Bhoot have a move called Perdition (causes Death). It can be stunned.
    • The Kusa are true-sight, true-hearing and link with the three NM ninja. The Kusa are immune to blind and dark-based Sleep and naturally resistant to bind, but can be slept with light-based sleep.
    • You can Sneak past the Bhoots and dodge the true-sight aggro of the Kusa.
  • The three targets are NM ninjas in various ninja equipment named: Oko (G-8), Danzo (H-8), and Saizo (I-8).
    • They have approximately 4500 HP each.
    • They use all ninjutsu spells.
    • They also use NIN and SAM weapon skills.
    • Saizo will use Mijin Gakure at 20% (but it does not kill him). Use caution, as Mijin Gakure can deal over 700 damage. Timing a tier 4 nuke or having both of your DD weaponskill at the same time when his HP is around 23% will avoid Mijin Gakure all together, if both weaponskills land well enough. Regardless, Mijin Gakure is based on his remaining HP so it will do virtually no damage even if he doesn't die. Using the Vana'diel clock is a great way to time the weapon skills. Attempting to skill chain will give Saizo enough time in between weapon skills to Mijin Gakure, so it isn't recommended to use a Skillchain to finish him off. Tier 4 nuke casting should begin when its HP is remaining at 25-29%.
    • They are susceptible to silence and gravity.
    • After each is killed there will be a ??? where their body despawned. The OGMA will always be at the third one killed.
  • Optimal Route:
    • Go to Saizo at (I-8). Kill the Kusa near him then pull him into the tunnel.
    • Next go to Oko at (G-8). Kill the Kusa near her then pull her into the tunnel.
    • Climb the stairs and dodge more Kusa. Kill Danzo at (H-8).
    • Examine the ??? in the spot where Danzo's body despawns to retrieve the OGMA and unlock the Rune of Release.
    • Drop down the hole (watch out for the Kusa at the bottom). The Rune of Release is on the lower level at (G-8).
  • Can be easily trio'd by most mage and DD/NIN x 2 combos by avoiding the true-sight aggro from Kusa.
