To figure out what the imperial defense is currently at talk to the sanction NPC Asrahd. Choose the option "I have some questions." Then choose "Besieged." Now finally choose "Empire's current state of defense." Imperial Defense Bonus determines what type of NPCs will be defending Al Zahbi during a Besieged.
The Imperial Defense rating also affects the strength of Sanction.
- The experience bonus rises from 5% to 15% based on the defense of Aht Urhgan. (
Defensive * .075 = exp bonus.) - The Regen enhancement is active at a progressively higher percentage of HP, active from 1 HP to an HP cap of up to 95% of the player's maximum HP. Regen is 1 HP/tick.
- The Refresh enhancement is active at a progressively higher percentage of MP, active from 0 MP to an MP cap of up to 85% of the player's maximum MP. Refresh is 1 MP/tick.
- For this purpose, "maximum MP" does not include percentage MP increases from items such as Vermillion Cloak or foods such as Marron Glace, or increases to MP from Convert HP to MP gear such as Ether Ring, but does include all flat MP increases.
- Glory Crown gives a +1 to the Imperial Defense Bonus effect when obtaining Sanction.
- The bonus caps at 8, wearing the Glory Crown when your server is already at level 8 gives no additional bonus.
