Revetaur starts with Chtonian Ray and Apocalyptic Ray locked. It gains access to Chtonian Ray when damage is inflicted via any known Weapon Skill. It is a gaze attack, and avoidable, but it is UNREMOVEABLE. Revetaur gains access to Apocalyptic Ray if damage is inflicted via elemental magic equal to the day's element. This is a single target, non-gaze doom attack which is unavoidable, but removable. Without his two Doom skills, Revetaur is not exceptionally difficult, it just has a lot of HP. If your group can't zerg him down in under two~ minutes (90seconds of Savior's Tonic:Negate Doom + 30 for doom to proc), then a safe strategy, albeit resulting in a much longer fight, is to simply auto-attack Revetaur to death (Possibly going /dnc to use TP for restorative purposes). Also, popping off a Savior's Tonic for 90 seconds of Negate:Doom when the mob is fairly low, will allow you to zerg out his last remaining HP (see testimonials) |
