Delay between completion?[]
I have waited for just over 1 Vana'diel day, but Pereus will not give the quest a second time... Fiorenzo 14:39, 16 August 2007 (CDT)
I've waited over several Vana'diel days to make sure it wasn't change of conquest week or a Vana'diel week and it hasn't regiven me the quest. It isn't JP midnight either. I usually do it every day when I do chocobo hot and cold in buburimu peninsula, so it might be something like 16 hours or something. Shourin 15:26, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
I had a mule try regetting the quest every fifteen minutes after turning one in. Approximately 8 hours after, it gave me the quest again. Shourin 23:42, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Requirements?[]
I already had the clay, and tried to turn it in on my level 37 White Mage. He sent me away calling me a new recruit. I warped, changed to 75 Paladin and when I tried with that, he accepted it. There appears to be a level requirement. --Preciouskitten 05:53, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

This doesn't require rank 5. Talked to him as Rank 4, Level 42 (rdm), with 9 Windurst Reputation and received the quest. Will try turning clay in with a lower level job to see if job level determines if he will accept the clay or not. Timolina 16:26, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
I got it (finally) as RDM43 and rank 5, but i've had rank 5 a while and he still didn't. But I did recently reach and pass 40 since I last checked. So level 50+ is incorrect. Also, I feel that some fame is involved. I also finally got the CS with Blandine (the sea widow overlooking the ferry) after this, and the only thing I did in Mhaura was complete the last quest with Rycharde. Definitely requires levels 40. I switched between SMN37 and MNK42 and it made the difference between getting the quest or not. Whether this quest requires Rank 5, I don't know as I was Rank 5 by the time I attempted the quest.Shourin 23:56, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
