For anyone wanting to farm this, I would say the drop rate from the Hecteyes type mobs, specifically the ones that drop the special eyes for optical hat, is much higher than the pages display. The spell scroll is rare, and if you are solo farming and have a rare item already, it won't even drop, which will affect the drop rates. So don't think you'll have to farm for hours for this.
