Effectiveness of Fire Threnody[]
I have done some testing, and it seems that Fire Threnody makes quite a noticeable difference in damage output of Full Swing. This seems contrary to reason, as the in-game icon for the weapon skill is grey. This indicates a physical weapon skill, not a fire-based weapon skill (normally colored red), such as Red Lotus Blade. Damage dealt was in the low-mid 300s (average of about 330) against a Tough Mourioche without Fire Threnody vs mid 400s (average of about 440) with Threnody. I had originally thought this was a possible inverse correlation with total HP. I now believe that was false and instead I simply forgot about the Threnody effect. Boswen 07:18, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
Did you have the exact same amount of tp each time? Because its clear TP makes a major difference on damage --Sidi 22:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
