I mixed in 3 from #3, then 2 from #2 and 1 from #4. It went nothing, gold, platinum x3, then started smoking. I got no coin reward, but still got the promotion. Sounds like 2 each of #2, #3 and #4 is the best plan. --Valyana 01:49, 30 July 2006 (EDT)

Point theory[]
Just did this, I think each tube has its own point per its third
- Tube #1 = 1 point
- Tube #2 = 3 points
- Tube #3 = 4 points
- Tube #4 = 3 points
- Tube #5 = 2 points
The goal is to make 20 points out of any combination, but not more than 3 times per tube and not exceed 6 times total. I did #3x3 #4x2 #5x1 (4+4+4+3+3+2) and got luminium.
- So far:
- 8 points = Gold
- 12, 15, 18 points = Platinum
- 20 points = Luminium
- 21 points or more = Smoke (according to Valyana's post)

Point theory is sound. 20 points is the goal and produces luminium. The following mix yields Luminium as well:
- 3x Tube #3 12 points (3*4= 12)
- 1x Tube #2 3 points
- 1x Tube #4 3 points
- 1x Tube #5 2 points
- TOTAL: 20 points
